Welcome to Little Rivers Speech Therapy! We are a small clinician-owned speech and language practice, located in the foothills of Colorado. Little Rivers is dedicated to meeting children exactly where they are in their speech and language development and building from their strengths with care, patience, and expertise. We value every child’s individuality and partner closely with families throughout the entire process, creating a supportive, encouraging environment where children can grow, gain confidence, and find their voice. I am so glad that you are here! LITTLE RIVERS // BIG POTENTIAL We chose the name Little Rivers Speech Therapy because here in Colorado, rivers flow abundantly. A landscape we are incredibly blessed to call home base. A river runs small not because it lacks potential, but because there is an obstacle. The same can be true for children with speech and language challenges. Those challenges aren’t a reflection of how capable they are—they’re simply road blocks along the way. At Little Rivers, in partnership with our families, our goal is to gently remove those barriers, support each child where they are, and help them reach their full OVERFLOWING potential. Services: Speech Therapy Speech therapy focuses on how sounds are produced and spoken clearly (such as articulation, fluency, and voice). Language Therapy Language therapy focuses on understanding and using words, sentences, and communication skills to express and comprehend ideas. Myofunctional Therapy Myofunctional therapy is a specialized treatment that improves the strength, coordination, and function of the tongue, lips, jaw, and facial muscles. Which can help improve speech, swallowing, breathing, and sleeping issues. THUMBS UP! is an oral habit elimination program that incorporates behavioral modification and positive reinforcement to break the habit and reverse the negative effects of thumb/finger sucking. “Whoever believes in me… rivers of living water will flow from within them.” John 7:38 It’s our hope that every child who joins our family experiences that same sense of peace, growth, and abundance—and watches their little river grow strong and free. *Only accepting private pay clients at this time*
